A fifth resident of a Sydney nursing home has died from coronavirus, taking the national death toll to 79.
Western Australia also reported another death on Friday, after an Artania cruise ship passenger in his 70s died after battling the virus in ICU for several weeks.
The 96-year-old woman in Sydney died on Friday from COVID-19, after a staff member went to work for six days despite having symptoms.
It has prompted urgent calls from medical officials for workers, especially those who care for vulnerable people, to stay home if they feel even mildly ill.
A spokesman for Anglicare’s Newmarch House in Caddens - which has become home to a coronavirus cluster - said the woman was able to spend her final moments with a loved one.
She had suffered from other health complications before testing positive to COVID-19.

'I am thankful that a close relative was able to visit her last night before she died,' Grant Millard, CEO of Anglicare Sydney, said in a statement.
'We grieve with the family, our staff who have cared for her, other residents who have come to know her, and everyone who has been thinking and praying for us during this difficult time.
'Please keep everyone in your thoughts and prayers.'
Two women, one in their 70s and another in her 90s, and two men, both in their 90s, have already died from the virus at the care home.
Some 44 people at Newmarch House - 29 residents and 15 staff - have been infected with COVID-19.
The man in Western Australia, who was from Germany, is the fourth passenger from the coronavirus-stricken Artania cruise ship to die from the disease.

There have now been 79 deaths linked to the coronavirus in Australia, with 6,675 confirmed cases across the country

WA had three days this week with no new confirmed cases, but reported two more patients had tested positive on Friday, bringing the state total to 548.
Health minister, Roger Cook, said the cruise passenger had been one of the first to be taken off the Artania when it docked at Fremantle a month ago.
He had been cared for at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital in Perth.
'So obviously he's been in ICU for a long time now,' he said on Friday.
'I pass on my condolences to his family and friends and everyone in Germany, our heartfelt condolences in their time of loss.
'Obviously this is a really difficult period for both his family, but also for the health staff who provided care for this gentleman … our very heartfelt thanks goes out to those healthcare workers who cared for him over this period of time.'

New South Wales Premier Gladys Berejiklian (pictured) has urged all residents with coronavirus symptoms to get tested
'This is a reminder of how we cannot for a moment be complacent in the fight against against COVID-19.'
The youngest person to die in Australia from the virus, a 42-year-old Filipino man, had been a worker on the Artania cruise ship.
It comes as NSW prepares to ramp up its COVID-19 testing with plans to check more than 8,000 people a day.
Premier Gladys Berejiklian on Friday said anyone with symptoms, or who is concerned they have COVID-19, should come forward and get tested.
'None of us want to see us living with these restrictions for a long period of time but for us to ease restrictions we need to have more testing,' she told reporters in Sydney.
'We want to see the number of tests go up above 8,000 a day.'

Ms Berejiklian also urged people to come forward and get tested on the weekend when there has generally been a drop in testing rates.
'We don't want to see that dip that we've seen before,' she said.
More than 2,000 people have recovered from the virus in NSW while 19 people are being treated in intensive care, with 15 requiring ventilators.
NSW Chief Health Officer Dr Kerry Chant said authorities had been working to limit the risk of COVID-19 entering aged care homes.
'It's impossible to have zero risk,' she told reporters on Friday.

Restricting visitor numbers, high levels of staff screening, and testing staff with minimal symptoms helped to minimise the chance of coronavirus entering aged care facilities, she said.
But, even with these measures in place, the virus can still impact aged care homes.
'Aged care will be a challenge going forward,' Dr Chant added.
Anglicare held an online resident and family meeting on Thursday evening with representatives from NSW Health, the federal Department of Health, the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commissioner and the Older Persons Advocacy Network.
Following the meeting the organisation's chief executive Grant Millard warned Newmarch House could be dealing with COVID-19 for about 50 days.
