From 6pm on Friday, March 4, Queenslanders will no longer be required to wear a face mask in workplaces, schools or in shops.
Hospitality staff and patrons also won't be required to wear a mask at cafes, pubs or restaurants.
At the same time, all restrictions at funerals will be lifted and there will no longer be a cap on the number of people you can have in your home.
Schools will be allowed to host assemblies and excursions and regular visitors to schools will be allowed to return.
"Our state has fared better than most and the credit for this belongs to every single Queenslander," Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk said.
"Thank you for getting vaccinated and keeping each other safe."
Where will Queenslanders need to wear a mask?
While Ms Palaszczuk announced a host of mask rules will stop on Friday, March 4, that doesn't mean masks are gone for good.
Queenslanders will still need to wear one on public transport, in hospitals, in disability care centres, in prisons, aged care centres, airports and on planes.
Density limits will also be scrapped in all food courts, hairdressers, weddings, funerals, gyms, private venues and universities.
Today's announcement comes as Queensland continues to record thousands of new COVID-19 infections.
Ms Palaszczuk said Queensland recorded 5583 new COVID-19 cases and five additional deaths in the past 24 hours.
