NSW Police are investigating the death of another Sydney woman this Easter long weekend, after discovering a body in the city's west.

Officers were called to an address on Newman Street near Military Road in Merrylands around 11:30pm on Sunday after concerns were raised for her welfare.
A woman's body was found and is yet to be formally identified.
A 38-year-old man was spoken to at the scene before being taken to Granville Police Station, where he is helping to police with their enquiries.
It follows the stabbing death of a woman at Mascot in Sydney's south also on Easter Sunday.
