Man arrested following alleged carjacking and police pursuit in Sydney - Sydney Morning Herald

A man has been arrested following a carjacking and police pursuit in Sydney's south-west on Wednesday.

Multiple crime scenes have also been established, including at Narellan, following a police pursuit through the M5 East Tunnel, near the Princes Highway exit.

The M5 East is closed citybound between Bexley Road and Marsh Street, with heavy traffic in the area. Traffic is being diverted via the M8 and Bexley Road.

Motorists are urged to avoid the area where possible and use the King Georges Rd and the D5 detour instead.
