WA authorities have added six new exposure sites overnight, after a COVID scare involving a FIFO worker who returned a weak positive test yesterday.
The new locations span North Fremantle, Greenwood and South Perth.
Those are in addition to sites listed yesterday across Fremantle, Subiaco and Scarborough.
Although Health Minister Roger Cook said yesterday there was "no reason to believe this will lead to a lockdown," he did note there was "very much cause for concern".
South Perth, Fremantle Greenwood on list
Among the new locations of concern is the Southbank Day Surgery in South Perth on August 2, between 1:00pm and 1:15pm.
The man visited Mrkt Space cafe near Leighton Beach in North Fremantle on Saturday, July 31, between 8:30am and 10:00am.
He then visited a number of shops at the Greenwood Village Shopping Centre.
Between 2:45pm and 3:00pm he was at Bakers Delight and Lewis Meats.
Next, between 3:00pm and 3:30pm, he visited Coles at the centre.
Anyone who was at any of those locations should get tested immediately and isolate until they return a negative result.
WA Health said in addition, anyone who was at the centre between 2:30pm and 3:45pm on Saturday should monitor for symptoms.
Airport, Scarborough bar of concern
WA Health said anyone who had been at a number of other exposure sites visited by the man, revealed yesterday, should get tested immediately.
They will then need to quarantine until they return a negative result.
The locations include terminals 3 and 4 at Perth Airport between 4:00am and 7:00am on Tuesday, July 20, and from 4:30pm to 6:00pm on Tuesday, July 27.
The man also visited Old Faithful Bar and BBQ on Packenham Street in Fremantle on Wednesday, July 28, between 5:00pm and 7:30pm.
The next day, Thursday, July 29, he was in the northern beachside suburb of Scarborough at the Indian Ocean Hotel — popularly known as 'Indi Bar' — on Hastings Street between 7:30pm and 1:00am.
On Saturday, after visiting the cafe in North Fremantle and Greenwood Village Shopping Centre, he went to the Subiaco Hotel on Hay Street between 6:30pm and midnight.
The next day, he was at Fremantle Hospital in the Pathwest waiting room.
Authorities said anyone who was there between 1:00pm and 3:00pm needed to get tested and quarantine.
The man's co-workers at the FMG Cloudbreak site are also being tested for COVID-19.
