Here's a quick wrap of each Australian jurisdiction's latest COVID-19 statistics today — Sunday, September 4.

Victoria

There have been another eight COVID-19 deaths.

There are 293 cases in hospital, with 15 of those in intensive care and six requiring ventilation.

There were 1,519 new cases today.

NSW

The state has recorded six more COVID-19 deaths. 

There are 1,689 cases in hospital, 40 of those in intensive care. 

There were 2,887 new cases announced today.

Queensland

Queensland no longer reports COVID-19 statistics on weekends. 

Northern Territory

The NT no longer reports COVID-19 statistics on weekends.

ACT

There have been no more COVID-19 deaths.

There are 92 cases in hospital, with one of those in intensive care and one requiring ventilation.

There were 122 new cases today. 

Tasmania

The state has recorded no more COVID-19 deaths. 

There are 28 cases in hospital.

There were 115 new cases announced today.
