Former NSW Labor MP Milton Orkopoulos arrested, questioned over historical sex offences - ABC News

The Former NSW Labor minister Milton Orkopoulos has been arrested today and is being questioned by officers over historical sex allegations.

Orkopoulos was released from prison late last year after serving more than 11 years for a string of child sex offences.

He is currently behind bars after breaching parole, and was questioned over the fresh allegations in Sydney's Long Bay jail.

He was elected into the NSW Parliament in 1999 and handed the Aboriginal affairs portfolio in 2005.
