West End brewery will close

The owner of Adelaide's West End brewery has announced it will close in June next year.
Lion has blamed falling beer sales caused by consumers choosing other drinks, like wine, and then the coronavirus pandemic hitting draught beer sales.
"West End has been operating well below its full production capacity for some time now and unfortunately this is no longer viable," the company said in a statement.
"We have come to this proposal as the best way to ensure we have a sustainable brewing network for the future."
Lion will continue to sell West End and Southwark beer.

NSW reaching a potential tipping point
NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian said the state was "on the verge of being where it was" in early July, when an infected Victorian man sparked a cluster of cases at the Crossroads Hotel in Sydney's south-west.
"I cannot stress enough that this is the most concerned we've been since that first incident when the Victorian citizen came up, infected his colleagues and went for a drink at a hotel," Ms Berejiklian said.
Nine of the cases are linked to the Lakemba GP cluster, and the other two are linked to the Liverpool Hospital cluster.
That brings the Lakemba GP total cluster number to 12, while the source of the cluster is unknown.
Two of today's confirmed cases were linked to a private clinic cluster in Liverpool, bringing that total cluster number to 10.
One additional case was confirmed outside yesterday's reporting period, found in Bargo, 100 kilometres south-west of Sydney.
Ms Berejiklian said the location of the additional infection falling beyond the fringe of Sydney, was concerning.
NSW chief health officer Kerry Chant said the elderly man in Bargo was still being interviewed to determine the source of his infection.

Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews dismisses calls from Josh Frydenberg to reopen businesses
Mr Andrews was asked about comments by Federal Treasurer Josh Frydenberg about reopening business quicker.
"He's entitled to say whatever he wants to say but the Prime Minister did not take the opportunity when we spoke this morning to run that argument to me," Mr Andrews said.
"I'm not interested in talking about Josh Frydenberg more than I already have, but I will yet again make the point that politics, whether they're out of Canberra or out of Spring St, they don't work against this virus. They just don't."

NSW Health Minister Brad Hazzard 'concerned' with testing numbers

He references the Crossroads Hotel outbreak in Sydney, which started the second wave of infections in NSW>
"It's fair to say that as Health Minister I have some concerns, some very serious concerns about testing," he said.

'We should have been told about the Shepparton'
Jeroen Weimar has told today's press conference that if they were told about the visit to Shepparton by the infectious truck driver, they could have been onto this outbreak quicker.
"We should have been told about the Shepparton connection that he had made," he said.
"Had we known about that, we would have done in Shepparton what we did in Kilmore and Benalla, which was to jump on all this and the contacts a week earlier."

Andrews urges those in Shepparton to monitor symptoms

The Premier has urged the people of Shepparton to ensure the latest outbreak does not get out of control.
"We want to prompt people to act, come forward and get tested. I am very confident — I have had the great privilege of visiting Shepparton many times and I know that community and I know just like Kilmore, they will respond to this challenge.
"They will come forward and the early reports are many people have already presented for testing. That will present a challenge. There will be time taken to process those people. We are grateful, at this early stage, for the response we have received."
