Hunt for stolen Mitsubishi Pajero taken from a family's driveway with their seven-year-old son INSIDE in every parent's worst nightmare

• Joseph Eaton, seven, is missing after his parents car was stolen with him inside  
• The Mitsubishi Pajero Sports was stolen from Morley, Perth on Saturday night
• It's understood Joseph's parents had left key in ignition while they entered home

A desperate search is underway to find a stolen car that was stolen from a family's driveway while a seven-year-old boy was inside. 

Joseph Eaton was inside his family's white Mitsubishi Pajero Sports car when it was stolen from Napier Street in Morley, Perth around 8.40pm on Saturday night. 

It's understood his parents had left the key in the ignition while they went inside their home for a brief moment only to come out and see the vehicle had disappeared, according to The West Australian.

The seven-year-old was wearing an orange hoodie with a dinosaur on it.

Joseph was also wearing green shorts with black thongs and has short light brown hair.

The car's number plate is 1HCG461. 

Anyone who sees the vehicle or has information is urged to call police immediately on 131 444 or 000. 

It's believed Joseph's parents had left the keys in the ignition of their white Mitsubishi Pajero Sports car when it was stolen on Saturday night (pictured, stock image of the car model)
