Victoria has recorded nine new cases of coronavirus overnight, but no deaths with the disease have been reported in the past 24 hours.
Melbourne's 14-day rolling case average is now 11.6, down from 11.9 yesterday.
But regional Victoria's average has risen slightly, from 0.2 yesterday to 0.3 today.
The last time the state reported no deaths in a 24-hour period was September 15.
Before that, Victoria had reported at least one death every day since July 14.
In Melbourne, the total number of mystery cases with an unknown source recorded in the latest 14-day period — September 19 to October 2 — remains at 13.
Yesterday three cases with an unknown source were confirmed in the postcodes of 3145, 3023 and 3019.
