Three police officers have been injured after a patrol car was torn apart in a serious car crash in Queensland's south-east which has left one person in a critical condition.
The driver's side door was crumpled, the windscreen was smashed, and the side door peeled off and twisted behind.
Paramedics, firefighters and other police officers arrived at the scene on River Drive, with the three injured officers and the driver of the ute all taken to hospital.
It is not known whether the person in a critical condition is one of the officers or the ute driver.
It's understood the ute driver was fleeing a nearby stabbing that police were responding to when the crash happened.
"One patient was transported to Caboolture Hospital in a critical condition, three to Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital, one in a critical condition, one serious but stable and one stable," Queensland Ambulance Service said on Twitter.
