South Australia has recorded 2,089 new cases of COVID-19, but the number of people in hospital with the virus has dropped below 100 for the first time since early January.

Out of the hospitalised cases, 57 people are fully vaccinated, 14 people are either unvaccinated or partially vaccinated and 26 have an unknown vaccination status.

According to SA Health data 10,323 people received a PCR test in South Australia yesterday, which is a 27 per cent increase on the previous 24 hours.
Out of the test results returned yesterday 1,428 were positive, while 661 positive Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) results were reported.
The state's vaccination rate currently sits at 94.8 per cent of the population aged 12 and over, with 92.1 per cent having received their second dose as well.
Booster shots have have been administered to nearly 70 per cent of eligible South Australians.
