We're getting a daily coronavirus update from Deputy Chief Medical Officer Michael Kidd
He says 337 people have been diagnosed as new cases of coronavirus in Australia in the past 24 hours, which is a "significant reduction from 10 days ago when we reported 747 new cases".
Australia has recorded 19 new deaths in the past 24 hours, all in Victoria.
This is the single highest number of deaths in a single day from coronavirus in Australia.
Australia's death toll is now at 313.
"This is an agonising day for the members of the 19 families, who have lost a loved one to COVID-19 today," Professor Kidd says.
In total:
- 21,397 people have been diagnosed with coronavirus
- 3,152 people have been diagnosed with coronavirus in the last seven days
- 12,000 people are reported as having recovered from COVID-19
- 4.9 million tests have been carried out
- There are 664 people in hospital
- There are 54 people in intensive care units
- There are 39 people on ventilators

Melbourne's new in-home COVID test
Can anyone in Melbourne get the home test?-Testy
The at-home test is for vulnerable Victorians who cannot safely get to a testing site.
Health Minister Jenny Mikakos said some Victorians who could not get to coronavirus testing sites would be able to be tested at home for free within 48 hours.
"This is designed to ensure that approximately 200 vulnerable Victorians every day will have access to this new testing capacity," she said.
The program will let a person call the coronavirus hotline and book a home test after being assessed by a nurse over the phone.

The latest breakdown of coronavirus cases in aged care in Victoria
As of today, there are now 1,756 coronavirus cases linked to 122 aged care facilities in Victoria.
138 deaths have been linked to aged care.
The total number of cases linked to aged facilities with active cases is 2,339.
This is made up of:
- Resident cases (cumulative): 1,088
- Staff cases (cumulative): 914
- Contact cases (cumulative): 337

Here's more on the two women arrested for COVID-19 breaches in Queensland
ICYMI earlier, Queensland police are questioning two teenage girls at a Sunshine Coast shopping centre over alleged COVID-19 breaches.
The teenagers, one from New South Wales and one from the Sunshine Coast, were detained at the Noosa Civic Shopping Centre this afternoon.
Police said the teenagers, aged 15 and 16, travelled to Queensland last Friday before the weekend's hard border closure but had also been in Sydney.

In your answer to Daniel’s question about dog parks half an hour ago, you said that the DHHS website says “you cannot drive to exercise”. I searched for this information and couldn’t find it anywhere and even sent a couple of questions to the blog and didn’t get a response (I know you’re super busy). I am in Melbourne and I’ve been driving my kids to parks or bike tracks within 5 km to ride bikes etc. Am I breaking the rules?-Stressed and confused
