The ACT has recorded 13 new COVID cases on Tuesday, as the city prepares to move away from lockdown measures. ACT Chief Minister Andrew Barr on Tuesday said only one of Canberra's new cases was in quarantine for all of their infectious period, seven had spent part of the period in the community, and the rest were under investigation. Canberrans continue to react to a roadmap out of lockdown announced yesterday which will see some restrictions start to relax from Friday. Dates have been set for businesses to reopen, but some in the hospitality sector have slammed capacity and density limits which will make it hard to reopen. Easing of outdoor restrictions will see more people spending time together outside. But those hoping to travel to NSW next month are still unsure if they'll be able to cross the border even if they are vaccinated. Schools were also advised about returns to face-to-face learning, with staggered start dates for younger children to take place in term four.
