"I think it was a little bit much," she said. "I mean, there's been a spike [in Victorian coronavirus cases], but it's not outrageous, right?
"Twenty new cases isn't a huge amount each day. So it's probably a little bit unnecessary."
Hannah said she "didn’t even think" about cancelling her flight on Wednesday.
She said the NSW Premier had been persistent about not shutting borders. "She was very vocal about Queensland shutting their borders, so to then say people shouldn't travel between Sydney and Melbourne. I think there's no need for it."
Dante Starr, 20, of Coffs Harbour, NSW, and his partner Taron Sharpe, 18, from near Gosford, NSW, were starting a two-week visit to Melbourne, their first, because they needed a break.
They are staying with friends in Reservoir, in Melbourne’s north which is in the coronavirus hotspot of the City of Darebin. Dante said the Premier's advice "definitely did freak us out for a bit".

Taron said: "We had like a huge freak-out the night before, like 'Oh my God should we be going'?"
The couple said, however they had been quite isolated at home recently, and were healthy.
Dante said although there has been a rise in coronavirus cases, "I don't think we should close everything off again.
"But you should be cautious. We're in the middle of a pandemic. If you’re going anywhere you have to make sure that it's something you need to be doing."

Taron said: "At the same time, you can't stop completely for goodness knows how long, because this could last another year, easily."
Responding to the NSW Premier's other piece of advice – that NSW tourist operators not accept visitors from Victoria's COVID-19 hotspots, Kia Taylor, 50, who was flying home to Coffs Harbour after visiting her daughter in Melbourne, said it was "disgusting" and was too drastic.
"She hasn’t closed the borders, there’s not that many new cases," Kia said. "Everyone’s allowed to travel, so unless she changes the rules, how can she say that?"
The clothes shop Kia works in reopened three weeks ago after being closed for nine weeks. She said tourism is very important in Coffs Harbour.
"I’m not going to ask people, 'are you from Victoria? Get out of my shop'."
Whitney, 33, from the Mornington Peninsula, who didn't want to give her surname, was going on a holiday and visiting friends in Byron Bay with husband Oliver, 44, and son Asher, 2.

She said when they booked two weeks ago, the message from governments was "get out and start spending money in Australia".
Whitney pointed out that Victoria's border with NSW hadn’t closed.
"I feel OK about going," she said. "I’m not scared of catching coronavirus. We’ve been working from home and taking heaps of precautions.
"I think you’ve got more chance of catching coronavirus in Chadstone shopping centre, by the sounds of it."
