Everything kicks in at 5:00pm today so there is time for the public to prepare. But there's certainly nothing stopping you from popping on that mask now if you got it! You just won't cop a fine for not wearing it until later today.

I have to travel to Chinchila to work via Brisbane Airport on Wednesday. That it fly to Brisbane and get regional flight to fly to Chinchila. Will I be impacted with this current lockdown??-John Anandanathan
It will depend entirely if your work is classified as essential John. I'd give your workplace a call ASAP, they'd know if you're likely to be qualified as essential or if you'll be affected by the lock down.

You'll have to follow lock down rules Jeremy. Here's what Chief Health Officer Jeanette Young said (bold emphasis mine):
"If your home is normally outside Brisbane, you have come into Brisbane to work for the day, as we know a lot of people do, of course you can then return to your home but anyone who has been in that greater Brisbane area since Saturday, 20 March, is now required to follow those same requirements, that is to stay wherever they are except for those four reasons."
So if I have been in Brisbane since March 20, but am no longer there do I still follow the same mask rules as Brisbane?-Confused
Not just the mask rules Confused. You'll need to follow those same lock down rules as Brisbane. So that's only leaving your home for those four essential reasons for the next three days.
