Bit more info for any of you in Moree:

• Vehicles should be moved to higher ground. If you have no alternative arrangements, vehicles can be parked around Taylor Oval. This area will be patrolled by police.

• Do not park on Taylor Oval. Taylor Oval needs to be available for helicopter assets.

• Sandbags are currently available for collection from the SES Depot, Tycannah Street (next to the Moree Plains Shire Council Depot). Priority will be given to those residents the subject of the evacuation order.

• From 7:00am sandbags will also be available for collection from Taylor Oval.

• Council has no capacity for any additional animals at the Moree Pound. If you have any pets, you will need to make alternate arrangements
