A man has died after a boating accident off Barwon Heads, south-west of Melbourne.
A tinnie was found capsized on RAAFs Beach at Ocean Grove, near the mouth of the Barwon River at about 6.50am on Saturday morning.
It's understood two men were on the boat when it was struck by a wave and overturned.
One of the men was rescued by jetskiers who were nearby at the time.
The 61-year-old Moriac man was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The other man was trapped underneath the boat.
He was pulled from the water by Life Saving Victoria but was declared deceased at the scene.
He is yet to be formally identified.
Police will investigate the exact circumstance around the incident and prepare a report for the coroner.
