Coronavirus Australia live news: WA and Queensland monitoring Sydney's Northern Beaches COVID-19 cases - ABC News

Tasmanians who've attended Northern Beaches venues must self-isolate

We've got an update from Tasmania, where authorities are asking anyone in the state who has been to high-risk coronavirus locations in New South Wales in the last six days to self-isolate immediately.

The Tasmanian Health department has published a copy of the locations that New South Wales authorities listed as posing an infection risk, and asks anyone in Tasmania now, who visited those locations on or after Friday December 11, to self-isolate and advise the public health hotline.

The Tasmanian list includes locations that NSW authorities had said only required people to isolate until they received a negative result. We can expect to see an updated list from NSW authorities later today after they mentioned in today's press conference a few RSLs that had been added to the list of concerns.

Travellers from New South Wales who have not arrived in Tasmania yet will have to reapply for a travel pass and confirm they have not been to one of those locations.
