New South Wales has recorded another 10 cases of the new Omicron variant of coronavirus.
There is now a total of 25 Omicron cases in the state, NSW Health said.
Of those, 14 are linked to two Sydney schools and an indoor rock climbing gym in the city’s west.
NSW Health continues to investigate the source of the infection at Regents Park Christian School, St Peter Chanel Catholic Primary School in Regents Park, and the Sydney Indoor Climbing Gym in Villawood.
Another 11 cases of the new variant were acquired overseas or on an international flight.
To date, no Omicron cases have been admitted to hospital for treatment in NSW.
Three other cases of Omicron - two in the ACT and one in the Northern Territory - have been detected.
COVID update
NSW recorded 208 COVID cases on Monday after more than 61,000 people came forward for testing.
No new deaths were recorded.
There are currently 152 people being treated in hospital for COVID, with 24 in intensive care, five of whom require ventilation.
Across the state, 92.8 per cent of the population is fully vaccinated while 94.6 per cent have received a first dose.
