A further three people have been charged in relation to an alleged stabbing on the Gold Coast that claimed the life of a 27-year-old father.
Raymond Harris died after he became involved in an alleged altercation with a group of people on Cavill Ave on Surfers Paradise at 9pm on Wednesday night.
He was treated by paramedics and taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital, but died a short time later.
Police initially charged two men, 18 and 21, with one count of murder and three counts of assault.
Pimpama man Jye Sebastian Webb-Italia, and Tinama man Jarod James Miller appeared in court on Thursday over the charges.
On Friday morning, Queensland Police said they had charged a further three people.
A 24-year-old Surfers Paradise man has been charged with one count of murder and three counts of assault.
A 19-year-old Surfers Paradise woman and a 32-year-old Rocklea man have both been charged with accessory after the fact to murder.
All three will appear in the Southport Magistrates Court on Friday.
On Thursday, Mr Harris’ stepmother told of her disbelief at his death.
It was the second stabbing on the Gold Coast in two days, prompting one of the Gold Coast’s top cops to plea for youths to drop their “gangster attitude” before more people die.
