How come the QLD premier got Pfizer yesterday? She's been eligible for Astra Zeneca for weeks, her maybe going to Tokyo doesn't pass my pub test.-A nonny mouse
It's in an interesting one. The official reason is because she is being vaccinated for a pending trip to Tokyo, and the 12-week wait between AstraZeneca shots would not have had her fully vaccinated in time. But is everyone in Queensland afforded the same luxury of being able to pick which vaccine is most convenient?

If Victoria ends the lockdown this week how quickly will the other states remove the current travel restrictions?-Need to travel
It's very difficult to tell unfortunately. Some will reopen for travel pretty quickly, while other states will require an extended period without community transmission in Victoria before allowing the borders to open. Like everything, it's frustratingly hard to predict.
Good morning. How can they be thinking about lifting the lockdown when yesterday’s numbers were the highest so far and they still can’t trace the source of the variants and say they’re so contagious? I just don’t understand the rationale.-Puzzled
Yesterday's numbers didn't turn out to be as bad as initially feared, as all of the cases were linked and the vast majority were household contacts of existing cases who were already isolating. You're right that the tracing of the Delta variant is a concern though, one that will hopefully be addressed today.
