A man has been killed after a truck allegedly hit multiple cars during rush hour in Melbourne's south-east, ending with one car flipping onto its roof.
The crash happened at 8.50am at a busy intersection in Rowville.
Police believe a truck travelling west on Wellington Road collided with a car turning right onto Wellington Road from Braeburn Parade.
The man driving the car, who is yet to be formally identified, died at the scene.
Police have said they believe the truck also hit two other vehicles, with a third damaged after a traffic pole fell on it.
The truck driver wasn't hurt and is helping police.
Footage from the scene shows multiple fire trucks and ambulances on the scene.
The road is closed eastbound before Silkwood Way, Vic traffic said on X, formerly Twitter.
Emergency services are directing traffic.
